NORTHSTAR CHEER COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS

          Our competitive program offers athletes an opportunity to participate in All Star Cheerleading competitions here in Ontario and in the United states.  Competitive cheer is the fastest growing Co Ed sport in the world.  We are proud to offer this exciting sport to athletes in the Windsor and Essex County area.    
Our competitive teams require a full year commitment. All competitive members must try out for the team either at a scheduled tryout, or at a privately arranged time.  Parents are encouraged to be aware of the financial and time commitments before registering their child for a team.
Attendance at scheduled practices is mandatory.  Although we realize that some absences are unavoidable we require that athletes or parents make every attempt to adhere to our attendance policy.  Excused absences may be granted in some instances only if an absence request for are filled out and submitted to the coaches in advance.  Not all excused absence requests will be granted.  Excessive absenteeism will result in termination from the competitive team.     

Age Grid and Available Teams

Tiny- these athletes must be between the ages of 3 and 5
As of August 31st, 2009
Mini-these athletes must be 8 years of age or younger
As of August 31st, 2009
Youth-these athletes must be age 11 and under
As of August 31st, 2009
Junior-these athletes must be age 14 and under
As of August 31st, 2009
Senior-these athletes must be age 18 and under
*As of May 31st, 2009*
Open-these athletes must be over the age of 18
Parents- each athlete should have a child in a Northstar program
